Truck and Trailer Maintenance

Shelba D. Johnson Trucking, Inc. operates two maintenance facilities in order to keep our fleet of trucks and trailers in peak condition. 

The garages at our Blair Street and Turnpike locations maintain approximately 125 company tractors, as well as 500 trailers.  Our shops also service approximately fifty owner/operator vehicles.

In addition to our team of mechanics, Shelba has two building maintenance technicians who manage the upkeep of our Blair Street and Turnpike facilities, as well as our warehousing operation in Lexington, NC.

In early 2012, Shelba installed a fuel island in order to service our fleet’s fueling needs.  With a safety lane in place, our drives can now fuel their trucks and perform pre-checks on-site before hitting the road.
