Today, Joe Wade, President of Shelba D. Johnson Trucking, announced that Richard Tucker has been appointed to the position of Sales Manager.  In that role he will be responsible for working with all customers to find cost effective solutions for their furniture distribution and logistic needs.   This will include truckload, less-than-truckload, warehousing and other logistic services.  Reporting to Richard will be Northeastern Sales Representative, Joe Russo and High Point-based Sales Representative, Dick Lewin.  Also working with Richard will be Sales Administration Associate, Andrea Davis.

 

Richard brings to this job years of experience in the furniture industry including Operations Manager for Darran Furniture.  He has been warehouse manager at Shelba D. Johnson Trucking.  He was also a driver with delivery responsibilities in the Northeast.  Richard has worked the last several years in sales and has shown exceptional abilities to solve customer problems by effectively working with all levels of Shelba D. Johnson Trucking management.
