Carol has been with the company 10 years, first in payroll and later as Human Resources Director.  She has over 25 years experience working with payroll and Human Resources.  In her role at Shelba D. Johnson Trucking, she maintains all appropriate files required by regulatory and taxation agencies.  She makes sure the company is compliant with all labor and regulatory laws.  She works as liaison with ADP, the company’s payroll processing agent. 

Carol says “Working for a company where you are appreciated and where people do not mind lending a hand when needed is wonderful.”  She also thinks the employees at Shelba D. Johnson Trucking are the best!  She adds that “it is a blessing to have a job where you don’t dread to go everyday for that I am very thankful.”

Carol has been married to her husband John for 28 years and they have 5 children; Hope, John, Jason, Venessa and Travis.  She grew up in Darlington, Maryland and now resides in Denton, NC.  Carol likes to fishing, reading, restoring old photos and cooking.  She especially likes spending time with her grandchildren.
